Happy Half Birthday Luke!

I cannot believe that Luke is 6 months old! Although it's hard to remember our lives without him it seems like the past 6 months since he's joined us have flown by. Here are his latest stats:

Weight: 19 lbs (75th percentile)
Length: 28 inches (92nd percentile)
Teeth: one on the bottom and another on the way (hopefully soon!)
Favorite activities: chewing on his hands, attempting to crawl, grabbing his feet, watching everything that his sister does

The past few days have been hot and humid and Addie has loved hanging out in her baby pool. I'm pretty sure that she would stay in there all day long if we let her! The big pool at my parents should be swimable this weekend and I'm sure that will be a huge attraction as well. We're very excited for a swimming filled summer!

Bird Watching

Addie loves to take her "noculars" outside and look for birds. She listens for birds tweeting, then looks into the nearby trees to see if she can catch a glimpse. I'm pretty sure that she doesn't see much, seeing as she tends to close her eyes when she's looking through the binoculars, but she definitely has a good time.

4 Months Old!

It's hard to believe that Luke is already 4 months old! It seems like time has flown, but at the same time it's hard to remember life without him. We went to the doctor today for his 4 month well visit. He weighed in at 16 pounds 8 ounces and is 26 inches long. It's crazy how fast the Big Man is growing up!

At 4 months we also got the go ahead to give Luke cereal. Here are a few pictures of his first experience...
