Crib Time

Every day when Luke wakes up from his morning nap, Addie races up the stairs to "go get him". She loves to be the first one in there and then likes to get in his crib with him to play. It's so fun to watch them being silly together.

Snow Day

We've had a few snowfalls over the past week or so. Sickness and freezing temperatures have kept us from playing in the snow too much, but Keith and Addie made it out on Friday for some fun outside time.

After nearly a month of standing independently and taking 2 or 3 steps at a time, Luke started walking! On January 1, 2o11 he went from these few random steps to walking across two rooms! Apparently he was just waiting for the New Year.

Christmas in Review

Our Christmas was a bit of a whirlwind, but every bit of it was wonderful! We went to church as a family on Christmas Eve and then enjoyed a delicious dinner at Mimi and Pappy's house. We spent Christmas morning at home, just the 4 of us then went back to my parents' house for our traditional Christmas breakfast of egg casserole and sticky buns. After exchanging gifts there, we hopped in the car for a 10 hour drive to Ohio to spend time with Keith's side of the family. It was definitely a busy few days, but it was wonderful to spend time with family!

Happy Birthday Lukie!

It's hard to believe but our Big Man celebrated his 1st birthday on December 16th. We had a birthday extravaganza (okay, maybe not an extravaganza but a little party) planned for him on December 18th but the birthday boy was plagued with a stomach bug that took out the entire Fisher fam. Lucky for Luke, he won't remember because it was only his 1st birthday!

Our sweet Luke Isaac is such a blessing to our family. He is such a smiley and laid back little guy and we couldn't imagine our lives without him! It's hard to believe that in just one year he grew from this:
